About our Bakers

Community Cakes has over 140 active bakers in the greater Treasure Valley. Bakers skill level range from amateur bakers, to experienced and professional bakers.

All bakers must participate in a home visit before they begin baking for Community Cakes. We also ask that all bakers have adequate transportation to be able to deliver their cakes.

Have a group that is interested in volunteering with Community Cakes?

Our organization is completely supported by volunteers and community donations. Other ways you can support Community Cakes is through fundraising activities such as bake sales, car washes, etc. You can make donations to Community Cakes here. If you have any other ideas of how your organization could help partner with Community Cakes, please reach out!

If you are looking for a way for a student organization to volunteer, and are unable to complete individual home visits, we have other ways you can support Community Cakes.

Other Ways to Help

Do you have any other skills that might be of value to Community Cakes? Because we are completely volunteer driven, we are always looking for other ways for volunteers to help.

• Fundraising - if you’re interested in helping raise support for Community Cakes, send us an email.

• On-Call Cake Delivery - we sometimes have a need for help delivering a cake when a baker can bake but not deliver. If you are interested please fill out a new baker application.
