  • Great news...we've successfully enrolled in the Fred Meyer Community Rewards program! Here are the steps to link your shoppers card to Community Cakes:

    1. Visit www.fredmeyer.com

    2. Click on My Account

    3. Scroll down until you see the Community Rewards option and click on it

    4. A search bar will ask you to search for your organization by the name or number

    5. Type in "Community Cakes" or "EV522" (our organization number given by FM)

    6. Your shopper card is now linked!

    Pacific Steel & Recycling accepts the following items, and will make a contribution to our organization. Different metals have different payouts so it's important to have them separated. Simply let them know you want your donations credited to Community Cakes when you drop off.

    • Soda Cans (Rinsed out, not crushed)

    • Tin Cans (Rinsed out)

    • Copper wire/tubing

    • Electrical/Extension Cords

    • Car Batteries

    • Stainless Steel Items

    • Brass Items

    • Ammunition Metal Shell Casings (Empty)

    • Car Wheels (Without Tire)

    • Ran Gutters

    • Aerosol Cans (Must be punctured and drained)

    • Paint Cans (Must be empty, dry and under 5 gallons)

    • Miscellaneous Metal Items (Bicycles, scooters, metal fencing, rebar, lawnmowers, etc.)

      Here's what they DO NOT accept:

    • Household batteries (Lithium, AAA, AA, D, NiCd, NiMH, etc.)

    • AC units

    • Refrigerators
